so, this is kinda lame, considering i'm still pretty new and i have a character in the making. i don't know if this is an absence thread as much as a warning thread? idk. but in the last few days, my laptops been dying pretty intensely. like, blue screen of deathing me, corrupting my files, deleting my applications [ >: ( ] so i'll have to take it back into the shop and see if they can fix it. i'm not sure when that'll be exactly, but if i disappear for a week or so, you know where i'll be :] also, with a whole range of personal right now, my posts will probably be a bit off, or my muse will be lacking. so forgive me if my posts are delayed. anyway, i'll for definitely be back and normal by the fourth of september, with my laptop all nice and fixed (hopefully).

uh, hi everyone! i'm one of katy's friends, and she just wanted me to post here to say that her appendix burst last night, and she's currently in hospital either having an emergency operation to get all the gas and what not out, or else (hopefully) recovering from it. with any luck, the surgery goes according to plan and she'll be back before anyone knows it! so keep your fingers crossed. she'll be for defs gone at least this week, but there's also a chance that she could be gone for up to the next six. just depends on the surgery and recovery time and what not. but yeah, sorry to anyone she has plots with, she'll be back as soon as she can.
this affects elena platt, scott avery and soraya lupin and the absolute latest that this absence will run to is the 15th of october (worst case scenario, though)

sooo i just firstly wanted to say such a big thank you too all the pm's and messages on here i got wishing me to get better, it really meant a lot to me guys and i have such a mega smile now :] thank you all so so much! i love you all and have missed this place far too much <3

so, guess who managed to fail at convincing the nurses that laptops should be allowed where i am snuck her laptop in? i've still got a few more operations to go, spanning out for the next four to five weeks. they couldn't get all the acid out before it did some damage to other parts of my innards (i won't go into details) but i'm awake, which is a start. after this, i shouldn't be gone for any more than a week at a time, so yay! give me about a week to catch up with the replies as well :] thanks for being so patient guys, i love you all

didn't want to bump the thread, i figured y'all are capable of checking here if need be. but i finally got out of hospital! in case you couldn't tell by the increased activity! but yeah, this weekend i went out to celebrate a late birthday in london, tried to go clubbing and completely mcfuckled my ankle over. it's not broken, but is (at the moment, only about an hour on from the incident lol) very swollen, very blue and indicating to a very angry katy that she may be needing to go back to the hospital tomorrow. i'll keep you posted, but i'll be back asap!

just a quick update as to why i haven't been around as much and such. i broke my leg! lol. as you can see from my update, i feel over whilst celebrating my nineteenth and got owned by my heels and a bit of alcohol. i was in hospital for a few days (psh) and then came home. my reasons as to not posting properly since then? my muse has been something of a twat and wouldn't let me. but, with any luck, i'm back now and will be able to post up a storm! and if not, i will be back in full in a couple of weeks. love you all, katy (:
