okay, so melina here is only a sophomore in gryffindor house, but i was thinking that perhaps she might be offered as a flirtation for avant? she's not the kind of girl who would throw herself at a boy, and i've requested an eventual final for her, but this is sort of what i'm picturing. basically, he knows that he's a potter, and potter's are rather well known for obvious reasons. melina would have grown up hearing about how her grandfather went to school with harry potter, and i think she'd know the rest of the potter clan from school...so perhaps the two of them could be a harmless flirtation? he could wander over and just start hitting on her, and she wouldn't exactly ignore the attention being given to her by a good looking boy like him. she'd play along, for sure.

that sounds great! she'd be rather confused as to why he is so jealous when other boys talk to her and are around her since she knows that neither one of them is really serious about the other. it definitely wouldn't make sense to her, so she might later confront him depending on how many times it happens. otherwise, i think they'd have a fairly strong friendship considering their two personalities, which are stubborn in nature.

AVANT AND NICHOLAS - hey brother! these twins been through it all from chewing on each other as infants to their parents' constant arguing. they've dealt with the good and bad. this is why they're so close as brothers. other than that, avant better watch it when gryffindor crushes hufflepuff on the quidditch field. xD
