personality:
protective
with the difficult life nick potter has had, he has no problem with watch ing over others. his father has hurt his family so much due to his selfish ways. nick wouldn't want to see anyone to go through that. it is the mere reason why he is protective over his sisters even if he might the closest to them. their family, after all. it's a word that nick takes very seriously. that is why he would never hesitant to help out. sometimes he may get a bit over protective especially around friends, however, he only does it out of his good heart. if you asked him, he would beat up that boy that treated a girl wrong or he can simply do anything to make one feel better. seeing people cry angers him because many individuals could be so inconsiderate.
kind
one could rarely see nick with a hostile attitude. sure, he's not a sweetheart like his twin, but nick can be nice. he respects people above him. nick doesn't want to do anything to upset others. it's sometimes hard to do. nick must picture being in that person's shoes and then he decides if he should be kind or not. being a doormat is not suitable for an individual. nick never hesitates to stand up for his beliefs. strangers will see his smile since he doesn't like to judge. that is why he tries to make jokes or positive comments to ease any problems. for a small warning though, if you do something that angers nick, you will never see that white smile ever again.
outgoing
having fun isn't hard for nick. when you meet him, he has no hesitation to be as talkative as possible. there are times when he should shut his mouth though. nick's quite the popular man. there is never a time where he turns down an opportunity like a party or quidditch game. he also likes to drag people to commit mayhem with him. it's nothing too dangerous. simple fun, that's all. nick is twenty one years old! he wants to live his life.
athletic
nick dreams on being a professional quidditch player someday like his grandmum, ginny potter. everyone knows they don't roster lanky boys. that is why nick constantly trains. he flies and runs all around the school. he gets crazy at it too, practicing when it's below zero out. his mother would kill him if she ever found out. due to his constant working out, he has been blessed with a tone body. he loves being on the quidditch team too. sometimes he hates it that it's from his father's blood, but he loves the game. he gets such an adrenaline rush when on the field and is in the zone.
confident
this is yet another trait that nick has received from his father. at times, he could come off as egotistical especially if it involves quidditch. no one looks good with a big ego, of course. nick's confidence allows him to win in quidditch games and flirt with women. some may think of it as a gift. this mixes in well with his outgoing personality. nothing stops him to speak his mind. also, this has allowed to argue with terrible people, including his father, to show them how wrong they are. he's brave. it's the reason he bleeds red and yellow.
short temper
nick's temper is beyond horrible. he can never hold his tongue in when someone has bothered him. when he gets mad, he turns into a complete monster. his face turns beat red and he will threaten you to stop whatever you are doing. this has caused him to explode in front of his father before. he can get vicious. this also allows nick to be very, very stubborn. it's from the weasley blood, right? many people get annoy when nick puts his foot down on things. he would prefer to see less people hurt, thank you very much.
immature
nick might be twenty one, but his inner child is still inside him. actually, when he was in hogwarts, he had the tendency to joke around and cause pranks. it was his way to become more popular. he liked the attention as a teenager. of course, as an adult, he has improved a bit. there are times when he can't help and act a bit childish with a friend or family member. he'll do anything to crack out a smile from them.
trust issues
this is truly the one weakness that nicholas never talks about. he's slightly aware of it. it is best for him to ignore it though. there's a reasons why he only goes on a few dates with girls. it's not to get into bed with them, no. he is not prepare to be in a committed relationship because he knows how messed up they can get. take his mother and father, for example. they've been together on and off all these years for different reasons. he's honest with the girls he dates that he does not want to get serious. most of his relationships have been one night stands or short flings. he drives away as soon as there's a slight chance that he might get a broken heart.

history:
"you want to know my whole history? oh, merlin, it's going to be long that's for sure. don't hate me if your arse gets sore. i guess i should start with my parents. my mum and father actually went to school together. they were in the same house, same year. mum told me how they never had a committed relationship. they were always on and off since their sixth year. everyone thought they would get married someday and have those white picket fence houses. they were beyond wrong.
actually, my mum tried to explain that the only way she let james potter back into her life twenty one years ago was because she was wankered. thanks mum. your son really wanted to hear that. ugh. anyway, nine months later, my brother and i were born. my parents were going through another rough patch at the time. you see, my father decided to leave my pregnant mother and ended up knocking up another woman. terrible, i know. my mum kicked him out of the house and decided to raise us by ourselves. james potter went off to find another women and have two other children. my mother told me she was beyond furious, which didn't make me understand how she allowed him back at home.
we had this argument before. she always told me that raising my brother and i were hard with the job she had as a bartender. that is why when we were three, she let my dad back in the house. they were together again. i remember as a child that they were never really happy. i think my mum only brought him back because she needed him. yes, they laughed together only like friends. there was no spark between them like you see in those muggle movies. my brother and i, on the other hand, were inseparable growing up. he's my twin! we even got that special sixth sense too. i'm not sure how it works, but there are times when we used to finish each other's sentences. spooky, i know.
back to my father... unfortunately. well, as i mentioned before, he had three daughters. the thing was that he never told my brother and i. it was as if my father wanted to keep it as a secret and trying to push the lie that we were a perfect family. mum and him argued constantly about the girls. it didn't take long for my brother and i to figure out. we just turned eleven and come to understand that dad had another family. the worst part was that we didn't know until later on that he was involved with two different women. my brother and i promised to not acknowledge it since mum got upset whenever the topic came up.
hogwarts was definitely one of the best moments in my life. my brother and i were away from home. no more fighting. no more dad. we've never been so excited. my brother and i even sat together on the train ride as we pigged out on the candy we bought. i got to say, hogwarts has always been a spectacular building. as soon as i caught sight of the castle, my mouth was wide open in shock. a student couldn't believe that they got to spend seven years in that place. it was great. but, what sucked was that my brother and i didn't end up in the same house. we've been close in birth and we had to go to our new group of friends.
of course, we still talked, but it wasn't the same like during the holidays. i had a larger circle of friends. school wasn't my favorite, but i at least tried to make average grades. now, quidditch. that's my calling. i tried out in my third year and they allowed me to do so because i was james potter's son. it upsets me a bit at times that i'm obsessed with a game that my dad loves. it's weird. anyway, i tried out as seeker and i worked hard. by my sixth year, i was captain and we won back to back quidditch house tournaments. it was great. i was quite popular in hogwarts and got into trouble from time to time. mum never liked that and dad never cared. it wasn't like he ever cared though.
that's why it was always weird to me to see my sisters in hogwarts. i never got to talk about them because i never knew what they thought of me. were they mad that our father was at my house? i think they got the better half, to be honest. my brother mentioned he talked to one of the sisters, adele, once and how she wasn't bad at all. even if i crossed by them in the hall, i had this brother feeling inside me. it wasn't till after i graduated from hogwarts that we got closer. we finally realized how we were not like our father at all. i got over protected with all my sisters especially adele. i wanted to break the guy's face who broke her heart in seventh year. see, i always had that overprotectiveness in use for something important. i adore all my sisters no matter if we are close or not. they're family. i know they need a male role model in their lives.
it's my last year in the university and i'm working hard on my house quidditch team. this year hasn't especially been easy with my dad sick and all. my mom grew tired of his ways and he left our house a few years ago. i still don't understand why evie has decided to take care of him. to me, i think he deserves it with all the shit he gave us all these years. i'm terrible, i know. anyway, i try not to think about it that much. lately, all i've been trying to focus on is my quidditch career and watching over my sisters. that's it."

Dating was never complicated for William. Complicated. That was surely a word he was using a lot lately. In the past, he usually had a girlfriend and they eventually broke up for whatever reasons. Everyone had to have the good and bad relationships. It was what made the world go round. Secret relationships took it to the next level though and it would be lie if Will said that he didn't like Makayla Rowan. No, he liked her too much, which was shown as their relationship progressed. This really wasn't supposed to happen, but no one was going to believe that explanation especially if he had to explain himself in front of the Hogwarts administration. That would be terrifying. He should have been the responsible professor. Mackie wasn't that much of a help either. She was purposely pushing his buttons by misbehaving in class and not turning in assignments to aggravate. A mature professor would send her to detention. An adult will lecture on how serious one’s education is. He did the opposite and played along since he knew he did the same thing years ago. Messing with professors was his entertainment and that made him realize how Makayla was so much like him.
It was the real reason why he continued this silly battle. He was aloof when she didn't turn an assignment and simply gave her a zero. There were times when she tried to talk back with him and he would just end it with a mellow response. He was acting like a child again because he knew that she could not win. He was the mater, knowing her every move. This was a game that he was not supposed to lose. Oh, but he did when she kissed him. He lost badly. The sad thing was the hidden attractions for her arose and he kissed her back. Yep, he was in deep trouble. This wasn't a sick professor and student relationship that they wrote in the Muggle papers. He did not want it to be like that. It just happened. Who knew that a student of his would show up to his classroom, playfully flirting to get back at him? He was doing the same, teasing her as a bluff, wanting her to know that she couldn't win. They were too much alike as they pushed each other’s buttons. And now, William couldn't stop thinking about her as if he was a schoolboy again. His childishness did not help either as he accidentally brushed her arm during class or managed to catch a glance at her as she took an exam. He had feelings for her and it wasn't like their secret relationship was weird or anything. They did usual stuff like talking and laughing instead of kissing. Despite their age difference and school rules, they could pass off as an ordinary couple.
Staring at the students’ papers in attempt to finish his work, William looked up when the door opened to see who it was at the door. It wasn't shocking to him that she sneaked off in the middle of the night to pay him a visit. He would have done the same thing; run past prefects and professors. Sometimes he forgot that he was a Transfiguration professor and not the same Ravenclaw boy that ran through the halls years ago. Mackie surely helped remind him that he wasn't that old. There was a line between being a kid and an adult, which was the downfall to growing up. He had a desk with lessons plans and a salary. His baby blue eyes glistened despite that fact and she told him not to tell anyone. It probably wasn't a great idea that she came up unexpectedly since it wasn't part of the rules. Hell, what they were doing right now was probably breaking a dozen of them. Did breaking another rule matter anymore? Probably not. Will joked, "Did you come to help me grade papers?" That boyish grin appeared on his lips. A visit from her was something that he really needed. He leaned slightly forward to give her a soft kiss on the lips. It was nice to have some company as he went through these papers. He missed her. Knowing Mackie by now, she would find some distraction for him to not do his work, again.
