hello. the name is ian tyler bole. i learned to live with my name. luckily i have a fairly normal name, yeah? not like finn or alaric. i'm satisfied with ian. tyler is just my middle name. no one calls me that.. well, that's a lie. my mother does if i made her angry. and i tend to do that a lot. but i don't live home with my parents anymore, which is probably a big plus. bole is not really a normal name in the wizarding world. ethan bole was once a big shot at hogwarts, that's what i heard from very reliable sources. he met nicole robson there and after a few years of dating they graduated, got married and got three kids. oh, yeah. maybe you want to know? i'm a half-blood. not that i really care at all. some people do.
after i graduated from hogwarts i went on and started at the university. simply because i knew and still know what i want to do with my life. i have ambitions. i have always loved cooking and baking, so i figured. why not major in culinary arts? maybe it's not what ethan would have suggested if he had a say in this, but he is not the one doing this. it's my life, right?
i know a lot of guys at my age and my build would want to spend their life playing professional quidditch. i used to play, back at hogwarts. but only for the fun in it. it was never anything serious to me. besides, i only played two years and wasn't the best. so i decided not to pursue that further. would have been a waste of time, really. besides, i think i would have found it rather dull and boring in the long run. you never get tired of cooking. i never do that's for sure.
okay, i should tell you about my childhood. well, as i already told you, ethan bole and nicole robson met at hogwarts. really cliché story, but just wait. it gets better. ethan was in slytherin and nicole in hufflepuff. but they met, fell in love, got married, got three kids and drifted apart. or.. ethan drifted apart. he kept saying that he needed some thing in his life to happen. because a beautiful wife and three children isn't something worth mentioning? apparently not. ethan decided, when i was five years old to have an affair. at that time i had no idea, i was just a careless kid playing with my siblings. but one thing i remember was the fight that went down when ethan came home that night. i suffered and still sometimes suffer from insomnia, so i heard all of it. i heard my mother yelling at him and smack his face. ethan left and spent a few nights with his brother. after that night we rarely saw ethan. and as i grew up i found out what really happened and i made a promise to myself that i would never cheat on anyone; that was a very optimistic goal. because as i grew up i started partying and sleeping somewhat around. but i guess my goal now is the same, but it should count from when i am married. i'm still young. you make a lot of promises when you are kid.
since that fateful nights all those years ago, i have met up with ethan. without my mother's knowing. i know he messed up, but it's harsh not to see your kids. no matter how much i might screw up, once i'm married i hope my wife allows me to see my kids. it's for them we live, right?
speaking of future wife... did you see aribelle marks this morning? she is crunchy toast. okay, you might find it inappropriate to talk about one of my oldest friends like that, but she's really grown up over these past few years.
