ooc, just a heads up, my first few posts may not be so long, still trying to get to know my little fabian. plus my computer keeps freezing on me >.<
they say school is the happiest days of your life, when your carefree, don't have to worry for money or any real adult responsibility. at least that is what fabian's mother had always told him, so far the slytherin had found this out to be anything but true as he craved nothing more than being an adult. of course this was probably the thought of many teenagers but that was simply due to most hating all the homework and the lessons that they were forced to attend. although to fabian he loved the studying side of it all. although maybe saying he loved studying was a little over emphasised. perhaps if he had anything other than to put all his effort into his lessons then he would feel his mother was something of a philosopher. actually however effort was rarely needed for fabian, he was a very intelligent young male and had proved that many a time during his years at hogwarts school and university.
fabian rarely put his hand up during lessons, even when he knew the answer. only ever responding when called upon. it wasn't necessarily due to not being bothered more in his way to keep himself in hiding from the world. he hated it when the teacher would declare his name out for the class to hear. some even turned round to look at him in shock as if they had only just noticed for the first time in a whole year that they were even in the same class as fabian but then that is what he liked. if he knew his grandfather wouldn't have asked questions then he would have loved nothing more than to have in his possession that invisibility cloak of his. although what chance did he seriously have at getting hold of it, especially with all the grandchildren, nephews and nieces that he had. it wasn't like they were overly close anyway and fabian didn't particularly like standing in the same room as him anyway. it always sparked off those comments, doesn't fabian look just like you...you could be twins if you were fifty years younger harry! god he wanted the world to just shallow him whole during those moments. he felt sick to the stomach the moment anyone commented on his looks and was at one point tempted to use one of the unforgivable curses on the next person that said it.
actually there was a point in his life when the similarities to his grandfather didn’t worry him. although he was never proud of the way he looked, not because he thought he was unattractive or anything but simply due to seeing his face near every book, magazine and newspaper and knowing that it was not him staring back. it wasn’t until people started to look up to him, admire him just because of his looks that he wanted to make himself as invisible as possible. it was like judging a book by it’s cover in a way and his books cover contained something that was defiantly not what people expected. the fact that he was somewhat a voldermort pro or even that he was against muggle rights. of course fabian wouldn’t go around expressing his views, he wasn’t that stupid like some slytherin’s were. he still cared for what his family stood for however he wouldn’t exactly be shy to admit up to his beliefs either, should he be directly asked.
it was a reasonably warm day, as one would expect in the summer months. even though this was england and really you couldn’t actually count on them having the stereotypical weather that you hoped for. as expected students were mostly spending their day in the university grounds, soaking up the sun while they still could. fabian’s first choice had been the library - he never favoured the hot weather but to his confusion it was locked. no sign on the door to explain why. perhaps the university librarian had called in sick or something, wouldn’t exactly surprise him although why her sickness would effect his studies he didn’t know. his second choice had been the common room but he knew distraction was inevitable, especially with all the students letting the weather decide upon whether they did their class work or not. instead fabian found himself in the auditorium, a rather bizarre desition but logical none the lesson. no one ever came here, apart from those drama freaks and fabian knew for a fact that they didn’t reherse this afternoon. this wasn’t the first time the male had made the choice to use this location as a place to wrap himself within his work.
he enjoyed the change of scenary, he could say anything and no one would hear him. there was also a certain sinister atmosphere to an empty theatre. fabian walked up to the stage, his footsteps echoing off the lavishly decorated walls and then he sat, center stage. running his fingers through his dark hair his green eyes scanned the scene in front of him, a shiver entered through his body, touching every inch of his skin, causing goose pimples and making his blood run cold. he loved the effect this place had over him. a small smirk crossed his lips as he opened his beige canvas shoulder bag, pulled out his books and immersed himself in his studies.

there was honestly nothing better then waking up to a beautiful morning. with the sun shinning high in the sky and the birds chriping away to a lovely tune. at least not to Adalynn Goyle there wasn't a better way. to some she was sure it was possibly the worse possible way to be woken up but she rather enjoyed it. she would shower and dress to the tune of the birds and nothing else. it brought a certain air to her day, that just seemed to make it that much better. with the weather in England being so unpredictable Adalynn learned to cherish the days when the sun was shinning and she could feel the warmth in the air. even though she loved rainy days just as much, those were the days her lovely bird songs were missing. most people, especially students, would also be less then thrilled to be heading into a school on a beautiful day such as this but not Adalynn. classes and her studies were always something that she enjoyed, summer classes were just an extra perk to the nineteen year old. they were also kind of necessary for someone who was majoring in design and minoring in business. there wasn't enough time during the day during regular school months she found she she actually appreciated the summer classes. there weren't as many students around and it gave her time to spread out some of her classes, ones that were required for the lifestyle that she desired.
dressed in her favorite pair of skinny jeans, matched with a white tang top that came down to the top of her thighs and a red shirt over top Adalynn left her apartment. thankfully her apartment wasn't too far from the school, allowing her to leave the house in her ever loving high heeled shoes. something she hardly left home without, unless it was a flats sort of day but that was something completely different. with her black satchel across her shoulder she enjoyed the peaceful ten minute walk to the campus. most store shops were just opening up and since Adalynn was becoming a regular in the neighborhood most of them gave a polite wave as she carried on her way. refusing to be rude she would wave back, whether they be muggles or wizards it didn't matter to her. a wave was a wave nothing more. if her parents disliked her actions then perhaps they shouldn't have brought her up to be so polite. she was sure they would have something to say along the lines of being polite only to wizards that deserve it. however it wasn't as though she knew not that they weren't wizards. she was hardly on the up and up of who was who in the wizarding world. every time she turned around there was a new face at one of those gala's they held. it was hard to keep track for merlin's sake.
adjusting her satchel upon her shoulder as she crossed the campus, stopping nearly dead in her tracks as the soft aroma of coffee hit her senses. licking her lips she bit down upon her lower lip debating if she had time to grab a cup before her first class. knowing that she was already cutting it rather close. muttering a curse to herself she shook her head and carried on to her class, she was never late and she wasn't going to start now. reaching her class just as the bell went she quickly took her seat and waited for the lesson to begin. playing aimlessly with the strands of her hair as the Professor droned on about the ethics to owning a business waiting for their homework assignment. it was her own fault that she was bored, she had read ahead in the textbook already so the Professor was talking about something she had already taught herself. it didn't help though that the Professor seemed to have a monotone voice, making it even harder to focus on anything he was saying. jotting down her homework assignment as he finally covered it, only moments before the bell went. given that she didn't have another class until that afternoon she took her time packing up her things.
exiting the classroom Adalynn made her way down to the coffee cart, finally getting that precious cup of coffee she desired. practically holding onto the cup for dear life she crossed the campus once again to head into the main building. normally she would have went to the library to check out a new book but the librarian had told her that the library would be closed when she had been in there yesterday. so instead she was taking herself to the only other quiet place in the University. the auditorium. usually it wasn't all of that quiet, with all of the drama majors practicing or having rehearsal for whatever performance they had coming up but today it was empty. if there was one thing she had learned was the fact that drama students didn't like anyone impeaching on their territory when they were in there. like outsiders were spies or something, Adalynn didn't get it but she didn't question it either. with her cup of coffee, her double caramel latte to be exact in her hand and a fresh homework assignment to complete she was set to get herself through to her next class.
as she opened the door to the auditorium she paused, her eyes landing on the male that sat in the center of the stage. he looked almost sinister, the way he was smirking and sitting there, giving her the slightest of chills. tracing her tongue out over her lips she wasn't exactly sure what to do now. pressing her lips together she decided on heading further into the auditorium. if she backed down and ran and her parents found out she'd never hear the end of it. "i'm sorry, i didn't realize anyone else would be in here. are you a drama major?" asking almost cautiously as she set her bag down on a nearby chair. her blue eyes still didn't come off the young man. she had seen him around Hogwarts a few times, almost sure that he had been in the same house as herself if she wasn't mistaken. "you don't mind if i work in here do you? its far to warm to sit outside, not to mention the excessive noise..." Adalynn's voice trailed off as she adjusted her weight upon her feet. she wasn't sure why she was asking permission, it just felt almost rude not too. running her hand through her hair as her hand rested on the back of the chair she had selected, awaiting to see if he would mind her silent company or not.
