you capture my attention tristan walked out of the daily prophet offices after doing an interview for the sports section of it. he held a puppy in his arm feeling like the dog deserve some time out. with how busy tristan had been trying to keep his mind off of georgie. he was coming to the conclusion that he would have to move on. she had forgotten who he was. it would be impossible to bring that back. the doctors had told him that there was nothing that could bring back her memory for sure. tristan had tried jotting her memory with photos but all it had done was scare her. he didn't want to force georgie to remember. the physical material to show georgie that they had been together once before was there but she couldn't remember a thing. for all she knew, she could have a identical twin and she was in the pictures and not her. it was hard but tristan was trying to convince himself that this was for the best. if georgie were to ever remember who he was then maybe they could be in love again but it didn't seem like she was getting any closer to that. tristan thought it was for the best that he learn to move on. he had moved on from girls loads of times. actually, tristan never fell hard enough to actually have to move on with them. it was like he hadn't had any feelings until he met georgie. it was a strange and scary feeling when tristan had realized that he had actual emotions. it had to have been a bigger surprise to everyone when they did find out that he had proposed. most guys would have waited until they were around 30 to do anything serious but tristan just turned twenty-five.
tristan was still young. maybe he should've went to university like other kids had but he was too old for that now. it was like as soon as he came out of hogwarts, he was instantly given the chance to be on a quidditch team that he hadn't even thought of going to university. he had been too caught up in quidditch to even think about academics again. tristan had been in ravenclaw and not slytherin. he had actually been very clever. a jerk but very clever. it didn't take him long to understand anything and he had been able to juggle everything. his reputation was never the best but he had a social life, intelligence and looks. he had it all when he was younger. now as an adult, tristan wasn't sure what he had left. he had sorta moved on from people who he called his friends. he devoted all his time to georgie that his outside social circle didn't matter anymore. tristan needed that back though. he had to go out. it wasn't healthy the way he was living. going home, changing into sweats and sitting on the couch with chips was no way to live. he wasn't getting anywhere with his life. it wasn't like he was an old man and couldn't do anything. he was twenty-five, a good time in his life where he should spend it having fun.
the puppy had squirmed in his arm as he had went into the building. he had gotten stares from everyone working inside. tristan never cared what others thought though. raphael deserved some time out. he had let the puppy walk around the room that he was being interviewed in. tristan knew how much the dog wanted to take a walk. when the interview had been done, tristan marched right out. a red leash in one hand and an arm holding onto raphael. he was still small enough that tristan could hold but he was a squirmy little thing. he never wanted to sit still. damn dog. tristan bent down ready to clip the leash onto the dog's collar but as he went to, the dog leapt from his arms and onto the sidewalk. tristan shook his head for a split second before bolting after the dog. "raphael! stop! you dirty mutt!" he yelled. raphael hadn't been trained (well other than potty trained but that wasn't the point) and he would have no idea what tristan was saying. he hadn't had time to teach the dog anything. georgie had said to him that they would take raphael to classes soon together but since she lost her memory- well tristan hadn't tried. georgie was usually the one who set up those sort of things. when he saw the dog stop, he saw that he had managed to stop someone on the street. tristan relieved sighed as his pace slowed down. "sorry about that. he's still a pup and really hyper for his age." tristan walked over managing to clip the leash in. at least now he'd have some control over raphael.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i56.tinypic.com/2zgu9hc.jpg); width: 440px; padding-top:10px;]oh, oh, everybody's starry eyed * aralynn had needed a break from the university life, as sometimes she did. it was a lot of work, that was for sure. the studying, the tests, the classes even had gotten a lot harder than hogwarts had ever been. but she guessed that was why they were university classes. they were preparing us for the real wizarding world, whatever you chose to take. obviously aralynn felt some students weren't thinking logically. going into music really wasn't going to get you that far. at least she had a goal and a plan when she was done, to get into the ministry of magic. and that was setting her sites rather high, considering she wanted in the department of mysteries. but it was all a little too much at times, and during those times she needed a break, and today she decided to take that break and go to diagon alley and go shopping. it was about time, and besides, she deserved it. having aced her last law test, and working overtime with the studying for potions, she thought she deserved a treat. and when aralynn went shopping, she sure went shopping! the pureblood had been used to the spoiling all her life and wasn't about to stop now. the mulciber family had a lot of money so aralynn shopping was not even going to dent the family income.
so she started with shoes. she loved shoes and bought two new pairs of high heels. then she moved onto clothing and ended up buying more than even aralynn expected she would, though she wouldn't admit that. then there was accessories, and school supplies, which she wanted to skip but, she did in fact terribly need some. after all was said and done, aralynn had multiple bags in each of her hands. but she felt better. she felt more relaxed, and honestly, happier. she felt good about the way she was working towards her goals and happy that she had taken the day to herself and spent time and money on herself. then it was going to be back to the grind when tomorrow started. but she wasn't finished quite yet. it had been hours shopping and her stomach was just rumbling with hunger. she normally didn't let it get this bad, but shopping really had taken her mind off of everything, including her need for food. so she stepped out of her last store and began to walk down the street. there was some sort of cafe around here she was sure. but just as she had turned a corner. a dog came flying at her. he caught her so off guard that she dropped all of her bags.
she was about to get angry, but as she looked down and saw the dog jumping at her legs, obvious he just wanted attention, she did something most gryffindors would bet against; she began to laugh. she bent down and petted the pup who wasn't that large, but not too tiny either. "who do you belong to little guy?" she scratched behind his ears and she watched as his tail wagged in delight. "look what you did to all my bags," she spoke to the dog shaking her head, but with a smile on her face. it was then that she heard another voice, the owner of the dog and she looked up to see him.
there, standing in front of her was world famous quiddich star tristan wood. for a moment she was silent, speechless even, and that was rare for aralynn. not that she hadn't met famous people before, but this was tristan wood. and aralynn was quite the quiddich fan. she had played as a beater through her hogwarts days and had watched the quiddich games. and attended some with her family throughout the years. plus aralynn totally had one of those school girl crushes on the star even though she had never met him before in her life and didn't know what he was like. and here he was, standing in front of her, apologizing. aralynn had to take a breath to even speak because she was so nervous nothing was going to come out. all she could think about was keeping cool and not looking like a foolish fan girl. besides, this was just another human being, nothing to get worked up about. and aralynn was an excellent actor and good at remaining calm in tough situations. so this was nothing. at least, it should be nothing.
"oh, it's alright. he's just lucky that he's so cute," aralynn replied directing her attention and her petting once more to the puppy. "what's his name?" she brushed off her hands and stood up, looking into those piercing blue eyes she had only seen in pictures and spoke, "aren't you tristan wood? the world famous quiddich star?" she smiled towards him, hoping to just come off as interested and want to compliment him rather than get him to sign unmentionable parts of her body. she had more class than that. and this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. she was not about to blow it. so staying cool, calm and collected while he talked to her.

you capture my attention tristan hadn't taken up the chance to actually go to university when he had the chance. he had been offered a contact right at hogwarts that he never went. he saw his friends go off to university while he went straight for a career. thinking about it now, he wondered what it would be like if he had went down another route. all these university students walking around hogsmeade with their friends, it looked like fun. not like the fun that tristan had when he went to a club. at hogwarts, he had been a ravenclaw and a smart one. a little on the bitter side but he knew if he had wanted to, he could have done very well at university. walking towards the girl who raphael had run up to, he glanced at her. she was very beautiful but young. she reminded tristan so much of georgie. dark locks, slender frame, chocolate brown eyes. tristan was going to guess that if she wasn't a university student that she had to be a model. the girl was a stunner but tristan held back from turning on his charm. he was still married and she was young. a little baby who didn't need to be corrupt by him. tristan went to pick up the bags that had been dropped. he was relieved hearing that she wasn't going to yell at him. he was sure that she was going to yell at him. raphael was a reckless one and tristan couldn't even control him just yet. the dog still had much to learn like to not knock down young girls on the street. if tristan had been single, he would have been fine with that. raphael clearly had good taste but the circumstances weren't right for that.
tristan went to hand her the bags and kneeled down to raphael;s level. "you know you're not supposed to do that. i hope you apologized to her." his eyes looked deep into the puppy's eyes. raphael instead turned away and tristan shook his head getting up. "raphael but he's too wild for me. the cuteness doesn't win me over anymore." he slithered his hands into the pocket of his hands. "yeah right now i'm tristan though." he had gotten enough stares from everyone inside the building that he didn't need more attention. since georgie had lost her memory, tristan didn't love the fame as much anymore. he started to realize that the only attention he needed was from the people that actually loved him. not these fans who thought they knew him. they only knew that he could play quidditch. all the interview questions he got, his publicist would tell him what to say. nothing was ever truly genuine when it came to the media. he was surprised that there wasn't any cameras around now. not that he could see from the corner of his eye. tristan had gotten very good at seeing where paparazzi were. they hid in the weirdest spots only to get a picture that meant nothing. if any were around he could already see what the title would read with this one 'tristan wood moving on with younger brunette'. while most girls would love this kind of fame, there was a reality to all of it. georgie had to deal with a lot of hate from girl fans and she had to sacrifice any personal life that she had. tristan had done the same when he signed onto his team.
"sorry about him again though. i guess i should let you go back to your shopping." he put on a crooked smile across his face pulling out the hand in his pocket that was holding the leash. tristan didn't know what his reputation was when it came to meeting fans but she looked pretty busy with all the bags in her hand. tristan thought it would be better to leave her alone. he didn't know what he was supposed to say other than sorry for his maniac dog. she was different from most of the girls that he met on the street though. she didn't freak out like most did. she seemed calm, cool and collected. tristan wasn't used to it but he quite enjoyed it when someone could keep themselves together. anyone would try and pull out their camera to capture this moment with him or ask him to sign something. there was a time for tristan to be a star and then there was a time where he just wanted to be himself.
