Aria refused to look like she belonged back in the eighties. her personality was unique and she wanted her clothes to be just as unique as she was. her next biggest worry was of course the guys of the school. she didn't care about the rumors that were out there about her. she had learned to embrace them last year when she realized no matter how much she tried people's opinions of her weren't going to change. Aria knew the truth, she hadn't slept with anyone. she was still very much so a virgin and she had no plans of changing that just yet.
classes had just come to an end on a rather depressing friday afternoon. dark clouds had filled the sky all day and they had just decided to open up within the last half hour of class. Aria had been hoping that the rain would hold off, but in england that sort of hope was like asking for muggle technology to work in the wizarding world. dropping her satchel on the floor, then collapsing onto her bed with a heavy sigh. this rain put a serious damper on her evening. she had been looking forward to getting dressed up and heading somewhere with her best friend, Nyla Rowle. the two of them would have probably wound up in some club where they weren't suppose to be but they could flirt their way in. since it was impossible to apperate inside the hogwarts ground, that would now be impossible. neither girl would risk ruining a hair do that they spent a good amount of time on. so it looked like it was going to be yet another boring night in for Aria. what was worse was that the dorms were slowly filling up with girls that she couldn't stand. the urge to tug her covers up over her head and just sleep this horrible evening away came over her, but she pushed it aside. that would be letting the horrible weather win and she wasn't about to let that happen. pushing herself up off her bed, she grabbed her shower bag and went into the adjoined bathroom. locking the door behind her since she didn't want any of the annoying girls she shared a dorm with interrupting her. it might have been their bathroom too but they could go somewhere else for all she cared. turning on the hot water then stripping out of her altered uniform, taking a moment to admire herself in the mirror.
Aria wasn't completely conceited but she was proud of her body. she worked hard every day to keep in shape, eating right and exercising, so she admired it and showed it off whenever she could. this didn't mean that she wore skirts that were little pieces of frabric or anything like that. merlin no. she had more self respect for herself then that. besides if she showed off everything on first sight, there was nothing to keep the guys guessing. she enjoyed showing off just enough skin to reel the guy in and have him wanting more. stepping into the shower, letting the water cascade down over her body her bad mood seeming to disappear down the drain. as a light sigh escaped her lips Aria washed her body from head to toe, making sure she smelled nice and fresh. she was determined to make the most out of a bad situation. once she rinsed off she stepped out of the shower, turned the water off, then wrapped a fluffy blue towel around her body. there was no question about her house pride. regardless of the fact that the sorting hat had nearly placed her in Slytherin. Aria had been glad, green just wasn't her color. even though she could look good in just about anything, she only pulled off green if she had too. when she thought of green, she thought of jealousy and honestly that just wasn't her style. she had nothing to be jealous of when it came to other girls and that wasn't about to change. swiping her hand through the mist on the mirror, Aria grabbed her wand from her bag and with a single swish her hair was dried and left down in its natural semi curly state.
she adored her hair, when it cooperated of course. it was silky soft and it wasn't extremely curly to the point of frizzy but just nicely curled near the ends. which left it easy to straighten should she choice to wear her hair that way. with her hair already in order she begun applying the light amount of make up she usually wore. which never took more then fifteen minutes. she didn't need a lot of make up for it was just her luck that she had good genetics. unlike her sister, who Aria always felt extremely bad for. she hated that Lucian and herself got all the glory where as Ainsley had to work harder for things. no matter what Ainsley was a Flint and in Aria's eyes that meant she shouldn't need to work extra hard for anything. after Aria had her make up she begun to proceed to get dressed. not adorning anything she wouldn't normally wear around school. slidding on a pair of skinny jeans and matching it with a curve hugging blue tee shirt. adding a black loose flowing sweater cover over top and finishing her outfit off with a pair of black peep toe pumps. it was the perfect outfit for an evening in. returning back to her dorm, she dropped her stuff off on her bed grabbed her wand and left. Aria might not have had a single clue where she was going, but she'd know when she got there. exiting the common area and heading down the dozens of staircases, passing by several students on the way. seems she wasn't the only one trying to make the best out of a bad situation.
without a destination really in mind Aria just allowed her feet to carry her until they figured she should stop. in her first year she had explored all over the castle so she knew her way around rather well by now. finding herself begin to slow pace as she walked near the Gryffindor area of the school. it wasn't an area she was around frequently but she did know a few guys within the house. a part smile part smirk started to form on her lips as a familiar head of dirty blond hair emerged from within the house. Mason Aesalon. he was quite popular around Hogwarts. Aria herself had flirted with him a few times but it seemed they always got interrupted whenever things were about to go any further. not wasting any time, not wanting anyone else to swoop in before she did Aria approached him, regardless of if he was with his friends or not. confidence boosting she winked at one of the guys with him, running her fingers down his arm. "excuse me boys. i was just wondering if i might be able to steal Mason away for a moment or two." though she addressed his friends she was looking squarely at him. "you know, so we can go some place private and chat. this rain is such a downer and i see no sense in the both of us remaining bored." by now a smirk had taken to Aria's lips as her sparkling blue eyes met with Mason's. making the best out of a bad situation definitely just got better. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] IT'S GETTING HOT IN HERE, SO TAKE OFF ALL YOUR CLOTHES The Words: 1066 The Tag: aria flint The Notes it's a fine spot! Mason was indifferent about the weather, depending his mind anyways. today, having been the last day of his exams for sixth year, the rain didn't seem like a bad thing at all. the Gryffindor had a way of making lame days seem more bright than dim. he wasn't a fan of sitting around and being gloom. sure, he could feel like that because the rain was making the sky less bright, but today.. today was a day to embrace it and go outside. have fun and splash in the puddles, spraying mud everywhere and getting nice and dirty before playing a good game of Quidditch to slightly clean off before heading back inside. having planned this out during this last exam, Mason had looked outside and thought up several different scenarios that he could get going afterwards. it wasn't hard to guess that the boy had done anything but study at the right times. this didn't go far enough to say that he hadn't studied- at least, he had tried. every time he seemed to get alone to open a book, a girl would walk passed and he couldn't help but want to be social and smirk her way, giving his famous nod as he did so. in his mind, there was nothing special about him- besides the fact that he was an animagus- but his charm never seemed to fail him either way. he was a goof, and really, girls who didn't' like bad boys, found some part in him that, for a short period of time, was what they wanted. and for what seemed like forever, having had his heart broken not that long ago, he had reverted to being quite okay with it, that being all he wanted as well. however, he had only gone so far as to flirt and kiss the girls he came into contact with. he hadn't taken it any further, and even denied two girls who tried. he wasn't ready, and the timing didn't seem right. funny, huh? not ready when he was the one who started to flirt and charm his way to get talking to them in the first place. he always meant to be harmless, and was learning the ropes fast. that didn't mean he was still not new at it, though. relaxing in the Gryffindor common room, erasing all of the stuff he had memorized for his exams out of his brain, it took next to know time. the boy wasn't stupid- he had done well, it was just that he knew what he knew, did well and then forgot about it so that he could have a good time and just.. live.
rounding up all of his friends by simply chilling on the couch until they all ventured into the room, Mason wasn't the type to go to people- instead he let them eventually come to him. having Alexander Weasley and Maverick Rowle by his side, he left the common room planning a fun way to blow off all of the academics that they had unfortunately had to focus on. the two blokes were his best friends. although his two best friends were each other's best best friends, Mason didn't mind. he never felt 'left out' or paid too much attention to any of it. for him, friends were friends and as long as you had them, why make it more complicated and dramatic than it had to be? making life simple was the way to go, really. simple meant less stress and more fun. and the Gryffindor loved to have fun. exiting the common room laughing with his buds, he didn't notice the petite brunette approaching at first. that was, until she winked at his friend and then followed by rubbing her hand against his arm. raising his eyebrows at her, he smirked. the girl was aria flint, a known flirt. although she was a fifth year, meaning a year younger than he was, and a Ravenclaw, which was a different house than he was placed into, he had known her from previous events because of the fact that she was a flirt. he didn't mind, at all, which was why he recognized who she was, despite the fact that flirting was all they had ever done in past encounters. nodding at his friends, indicating that he would meet them leading without actually commencing a verbal comment, he then gestured for Aria to lead the way to where ever she wished to venture. grinning at his friends as he left, girls were great. the one who had just approached him was that and stunning. several girls at Hogwarts had yet to come into their full, beautiful and developed selves (which Mason knew didn't mean they weren't attractive) but in Aria's case, she had started and was definitely a full package. she was what he knew girls would call the 'lucky' kind.
"what was it that you had in mind for us, hmm?" he asked, actually unsure if she had anything planned, or if she had come up to him out of a spur of the moment thought. if she hadn't planned anything before staking him out, he wasn't fazed. Mason loved coming up with things to do. and considering exams had just ended, the world seemed endless. he was up for anything at this point. anything besides studying, anyways. he needed away from academics! they sucked. not paying too much attention to where they were going, he knew that later on he would go outside and enjoy the rain if it was still out by the time they were finished up. if it wasn't, oh well. he wasn't upset that he was away from his guy friends- they were always around and as for the rain, it came back and just because he was with her now, didn't mean they wouldn't enjoy it together. whatever happened, happened. Mason didn't really care at this point. "you look good, by the way." he told her, noticeably looking her up and down. he wasn't lying- she did look fine. believing that somebody should be notified when they looked extra good, he saw no harm in announcing that she met that standard in his eyes at the current time. waiting for his response, he smirked over at her and allowed the wonder to float in his eyes as he looked down at her walking beside him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; background-color: #343434; padding:20px; border-top: 10px #af9390 solid; border-bottom: 10px #af9390 solid;] just a kiss ( WORDS ) 1102 ( TAGGED ) MASON AESALON ( STATUS ) COMPLETE it was quite unknown to Aria why she had went for Mason. it wasn't as though he was known for his reputation with the ladies, he was actually quite the opposite. he was sweet and funny, two qualities girls usually looked for. it wasn't as though she had talked to him every day since coming to Hogwarts, in fact she had just recently started talking to him this year. why, she wasn't exactly sure. they just sort of stumbled upon one another and it wasn't as though she was shy so she had started up a conversation with him. she had talked to him only a couple times this far, but their conversations always fascinated her. why her feet had brought her to him though, she didn't quite understand. she was never one of those girls who focused on just one guy, until now it seemed. she could easily admit that he had been taking up the thoughts of her mind more then anyone as of late but it was all just silly. the few conversations they had with one another were flirty and fun. it wouldn't be hard for her to admit she was attracted to Mason but he wasn't exactly like other guys. he wasn't anywhere near the other guys that would come seeking her out in the corridors. that thought the rumors about her were true and that she'd sleep with them just because they threw some line at her. when truth be told she hadn't slept with any guy, snogging was as far as she had gone minus a the odd stray hand that she had to slap away. besides, she wasn't about to sleep with some guy just because they could form a sentence, what the hell did they take her for?
granted her mind did tend to think like a guys from time to time, she blamed that solely on the fact that all she hung out with was guys. then one had to consider the male friends that she did hang out with, Corvin Lestrange, Benedikt Perlin and Quinton Harper. guys who weren't exactly clean in their image. it amused her to no degree that anyone who saw her with one of them instantly thought she was either sleeping with one or all of them, or even dating them. she wasn't doing either, but she didn't put it past her to act like that when some girl she didn't like was interested in them. now that was fun. however, they weren't the object of her attention right now. Mason was. watching as his friends walked away she looked up at him with an actual smile upon her lips. "well," she paused, her eyes leaving him and looking out the window that was down the corridor. "we can either go down to the Quidditch Pitch and get soaked while you try to show me just what is so fascinating about the sport." she suggested. anyone that knew Aria knew she didn't do flying, she liked her feet flat upon the ground. yet she seemed to be willing to make some kind of exception for Mason. odd how that was. heights terrified the brunette, had since she was a little girl. she would go out and support her house to watch the games, but never she did get on a broom. not for Quinton, Corvin or anyone for that matter. why was she so willing to get on one for Mason should be the question then? it was quite puzzling. though she chalked it up to just finally having an excuse to have his arms around her.
all of their encounters thus far had been nothing but flirty words passed between one another and though that didn't really bother Aria, she seemed to want to change that. everything about the boy seemed inviting. from the smile on his lips to his sense of adventure. she would be lying to herself if she said she didn't want to know more about him, including just how soft his lips actually were. merlin knew she had wondered that thought several times since meeting him. "or." Aria brought her attention back to Mason. "we could stay indoors and go up to the Room of Requirement where its warm. perhaps get to know one another a bit better? maybe even watch a movie or two?" after all didn't the room of requirement take on any form that you wanted? then muggle devices should work within that room, given that rules didn't exactly exist for the room of requirement. with the exception of making food appear. the Kitchen was good for that. "we could even do both if you really wanted." shrugging her shoulders casually. yes, this may have been her idea to approach him but she hadn't put much thought anything further. she was mostly just pulling these ideas out of no where at the moment. if he did want to go outside, then the plus side was she'd get to see him when he was soaked. that didn't exactly paint a bad picture in her mind so she wasn't complaining exactly. "which option did you like more?" Aria asked, leaving the decision in his hands now.
"unless of course you can think of something else to do?" figuring she'd put this out there just in case he had any ideas. why not? perhaps he had something more fun for them to do. "oh, thanks." smiling at his compliment as she looked down at her outfit then back up at him. glad that her selection had paid off. "just threw these on after getting out of the shower." it wasn't exactly a lie, she had thrown the clothes on after her shower but it had taken much more work then that. girls were suppose to appear as though they climbed out of bed looking as good as they did though, weren't they? "you look pretty gorgeous yourself." she replied, obviously looking him over. she had no shame in enjoying what he looked like. "i didn't interrupt anything back there did i? i am terribly sorry if i did." she felt it only right to ask this question. after all he had been talking to his friends and she didn't want to seem rude. |
