ugh, but it wasn’t till now that she realized this really did suck. this is where drinking showed its negative sides and the humiliation really dug in deep, man. it was horrible. ugh, of all these years of mocking snakes and teasing them and occasionally getting into a bitch slap with one or two of them, this was just low. and it wasn’t just her recent break up, it was worse than this and she didn’t know what to do. but she did know that it might be time to finally be honest with the guys. her best friends. spidey, fish, and mav. aus hadn’t seen them in a while and one, that wasn’t right. two, they usually got together for like. really shitty events. such as this. she knew that they’d her a lot of crap for it and heck, she’d give them tons of crap back, but it was time to be... honest. funny how that word just made her shiver. she wasn’t good with the truth. in fact, she really hated it. she hated the idea of being ‘honest’ and whatever stuff that people said. i mean, seriously? listen to your heart? that was the sorta bullshit advice she avoided. it was only when she was with some people that the truth couldn’t help but coming out. everything seemed to be a lie in general though. the whole ‘look, i’m friendly with you, but behind your back, i actually rat you out ‘cause you’re a stupid moron’. it was totally see through and aus could see that. she was judgmental. so what. she just had a better sense of personalities. oh why did the gods curse her with the gift of being so much better than other people? it was hard to deal with a whole bunch of prats down here on earth. was she being ridiculous? hell yeah. was she an elitest? you can bet your sorry ass on that. and was she sorry for thinking like that? pfft. think again. she was usually never sorry for the stuff she said or did wrong. whatever. it was the past and she forgot the past, man. she forgot it. she leaned back on the bench, glancing around her, pointing out any person that might look particularly ridiculous of some sort. wasting time was what she did best and this was her point. of course she told the guys to here by like. five. sixish. whatever. dinner time to be exact, but she was here just a tad early. she spent most of her day staring at the ceiling, going outside to rant on some couples that were making out by the edge of the building. so what? she got some kiddos busted but that’s what they got for having a happy love life. they got together, they got in trouble together. the circle of life, right? aus let out a loud sigh, her foot kicking bits of the dirt. she had thought of the idea maybe a few minutes ago, but it sounded good. or well, it sounded easier than it was and even she knew that was going to be the cause. dammit. she was gonna stop drinking. or well, for the time being. she wasn’t gonna drink and it was possibly ‘cause it was some of that snake kid’s fault. she blamed him. she’d smack him later on, but for now, she was gonna hang with her friends. she was gonna tell them and they could go all beat vaisley together! oooh, this was starting to sound like fun! aus grinned at the thought and chuckled to herself. she had brought a few snacks here and there. like of course, the goldfish snacks. the sort where you hit them with people when they were looking but also you could eat when you got bored. and also brought some soda pops and stuff. just the easy junk that you could steal from any store. yeah, did i mention that she stole them? aus didn’t have any money at the time and well, the guy at the counter was busy playing video games and so all she had to do was walk out of the store and walaa! she was free. no frickin’ alarms or anything! it was finally when she saw the outline of one of her friends that she called out to him and threw a few tortilla chips at ‘em, “oy! what took you so long? i’ve been waiting here for like. ten minutes, dude!” |
