*cue the keg stand* So, I don't know if I really love college yet or not since it doesn't start until next week, but I hope it doesn't involve as much running around as getting ready for it does. I have to say though, finding a picture of Candice Swanepoel in an Ole Miss shirt has both made my life and assured me that it was a much better decision than Mississippi State. Anyway, the point of all of this is that I wanted to apologize for being kind of MIA the past few weeks, and, unfortunately, I might be for a few more as well. Move in is next Thursday, and I'm determined to get as many threads up as I possibly can by then to make up for how inactive I might be the few weeks of school. There's always hope that maybe I won't be though, because I have no idea how all of this is going to work out since it's my first year at college. If I don't show back up in a few weeks, I've probably just gotten lost somewhere on campus, but I here they have distress lights so maybe someone will rescue me and tell me how I'm supposed to read the ridiculous maps they hand out.

That's my dorm room. Isn't it cute? So, I thought I would update you guys on what's going on. I'm not really back yet, but I do have a little more time at the moment. Unfortunately, class starts in the morning, so I'm not sure that that's going to last past tonight. I might be able to get something up tonight, but we have a dorm meeting at four and some sort of freshman pep ralley or something. I don't know, but apparently you're supposed to be social in college and go out and stuff.

So, I am going to probably be on hiatus for the rest of the week. I know very well I'm not going to have time to post for the next few days as much as I've been trying to be able to. I actually set aside this weekend to get all of my post done, but, no, that would just be much too simple. You see, my dad is in the hospital. Why? Because he's going through a mid-life crisis and bought himself a motorcycle last week. He drove it for the first time Saturday and wound up having a wreck. His hopes and dreams of joining a biker gang seem to have been very short lived, because I just don't see him getting back on that thing after this. He got moved out of the ICU about an hour ago, but I'm still worried out of my mind. I just drove back to school this morning, and I had to talk myself out of driving back for the night. I might pop in a few times this week, but I just really I'm not going to have time to sit down and write with all of that going on. Hopefully, I'll actually be able to use next weekend to do something productive, but I'm going to have to wrap my family in bubble wrap for that to actually happen it seems.
